New Delhi: Khoobsurat starring Sonam Kapoor and Fawad Khan had a special screening in Mumbai. And to grace the event were a few of the biggies from the industry.
Apart from the Kapoor clan including Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor; Ranveer Singh, Farhan Akhtar, Fawad Khan, Mandira Bedi, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra too attended the screening.
It was the second special screening organised for the ones who couldn’t watch the film in the previous one. Sridevi with husband Boney Kapoor, Rekha, Mohit Marwah, Rhea Kapoor are a few names amongst many others who graced the screening at first.
Khoobsurat is garnering all kinds of compliments from all around and Sonam-Fawad chemistry has won the maximum brownie points.
Unlike the earlier screening where the entire cast of the film seemed missing, this time, everyone except Kirron Kher made sure to add dazzles at the event. Though Sonam looked rather dull despite tons of makeup on her face, she tried to adorn a rejuvenating look.
Fawad arrived sporting stark navy blue shirt with brown pants. He too looked a bit dreary though his royal charm made it up for everything else.
Making it starrier were actors Naseeruddin Shah with Ratna Pathak Shah who also happens to be the royal mother of Fawad Khan in the film.
Khoobsurat is produced by Sonam’s sister Rhea Kapoor and marks as debut of nation’s heart throb, Fawad Khan.
We wish Khoobsurat does well at the box office!
Ram Gopal Varma owes money to Bollywood producers
Ram Gopal Varma was in news recently after his demeaning tweets about lord Ganesh on Ganesh Chathurthi and now, the filmmaker is facing music from producers and financers. Apparently, it is being said that the filmmaker has decided to stay away from the public eye because he is indebted to many.
Recently, financer Bharat Shah revealed that the director owes him about Rs. 9 crores and RGV has been dodging everybody whom he owes money to. Moreover, the production house Reliance Entertainment too has voiced out about RGV's debts. Shibashish Sarkar, CFO of the company, maintained that the filmmaker owes them about Rs. 32 crores. Out of the total amount he owes to the company, Ram Gopal Varma paid only Rs. 4 crores as per Shibashish. He also mentioned that they have taken the matters to court and even issued a directive stating that RGV will have to pay a given amount after every film and further added, Ram Gopal Varma has even defaulted the payments.
It was also being said that Ram Gopal Varma is currently not speaking to the media or his Bollywood colleagues since he is busy with his South films for which he is in Hyderabad.
However, RGV seems to be completely unaware of the circumstance and responded to the allegations by asserting that he is Mumbai completing the pre-production of his next Bollywood film in the city.
Though he did not divulge any details of the said film, we hear that it is for the recently announced adult film Xes which is to be produced by Ekta Kapoor.

The Gwalior-born lyricist-singer-actor-composer Piyush Mishra does not need any introduction. He keeps coming to Bhopal, Indore, or his hometown.
So, it was no surprise when he recently made a brief stopover in Indore and Bhopal before heading to Gwalior to visit home. He said, "Poora MP mera ghar hai. I always enjoy coming here. Whenever I get the time or if there's any occasion, I don't miss the opportunity."
The Gangs Of Wasseypur actor feels that a biopic on CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan's life will definitely be interesting. "I'm not at all interested in politics, and neither am I making a political statement. But I definitely think that our CM's life story is pretty interesting and will make for a good film," Piyush stated, adding, "We have so many filmmakers coming to shoot here. There are no permission issues, no security hassles. Filmmakers can easily come and shoot here."
