Hrithik Roshan on separation from Sussanne: One day I may have answers

Hrithik Roshan on separation from Sussanne: One day I may have answers

Hrithik says Sussanne is and will always be the love of his life.

A month since the announcement of his separation from wife Sussanne Khan, Hrithik Roshan was in the mood to bare his soul, as he unveiled his new brand HRX on a Google Plus Hangout in Mumbai.

So how was the actor feeling ?
"I am good," came the answer.

Well, maybe not on top of the world but getting there, as he delved into the philosophy of his brand HRX, saying the X factor was the lengths to which he could go to empower himself and people around him.

The actor said that a lot had happened in his life lately - injuries, emotional upheaval.

"I take full responsibility about whatever is happening in my life, instead of blaming people and circumstances. I have had to realize it's about me. Yes, there are times when the possibility of a good future seems impossible, but I realize one has to get I with it!

Empower yourself. Coax your mind into believing you can! Give it your best shot. Today my weakness has become my biggest strength. When I connect the dots, it all makes sense. No one gives a shit about what's happening in your life. You have to overcome the challenges of the past what if something monstrous lies ahead I have to keep moving forward and that's what my brand is about, living the best life you can. You owe it to yourself," Hrithik said.

When asked about how the past year's injuries and his divorce happened together and how he was holding up, Hrithik's response was from the heart.

"What can I say, what can I do? When it happens to someone you can give advice, when it happens to you, you got to face it. Someday, I will have answers. At the moment, there are just questions. I have lost sense of objectivity. But the worst you can do is blame yourself with the dreaded 'why me?' Never do that. Face the challenge," was the actor's response.

Saying he had a fabulous birthday with his sons on a yacht, the man who the Khans also fear as competition said, "I love competition. Yes, there are times when I don't want to surface from bed but I tell the Almighty 'Ok, bring it on. What do you want me to face today, what challenge is coming my way?'"

With his back on the mend, the actor said he was looking forward to the tough action scenes in Bang Bang and in life as well too.

Well, all we can say to this superhero is may the force be with you.

Canadian film 'Rock Paper...' to release in India Feb 7

New Delhi, Jan 20

Canadian thriller "Rock Paper Dice Enter", directed and produced by Indian origin filmmakers based in Canada, will hit the screens in 10 Indian cities Feb 7. Directed by Shreela Chakrabartty, the film features producer-writer Kash Gauni in the lead role. "Rock Paper Dice Enter" will be released in Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, Surat, Pune, Lucknow and Hyderabad as part of PVR Director's Rare selection, which supports the theatrical release of independent films. Chakrabartty hopes the "global" story appeals to all. "The title of the film suggests a game of life we currently play using a keyboard and by taking chances. Every individual is accountable for his or her actions based on decisions taken with the information on hand. "Corruption spreads like cancer. For filmmakers, this makes the perfect backdrop for an intelligent, entertaining ride. It is interesting that India was quick to pick up on this," Chakrabartty said in a statement. The director said that the idea behind the movie was to work on something "commercial", which "has the capacity to show off Canadian talent to the largest audiences possible". "Rock Paper Dice Enter" is set in the fictitious city of Strathaven, a hub for cyber security and prosperity in North America. On a rain soaked late night in an upper middle class, college town, Roman, the main character, alerts City Intelligence of a security breach that sets off a series of events around the incident of a seemingly unrelated diamond heist.

Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma stars opposite Ranbir Kapoor in Anurag Kashyap's Bombay Velvet. The film, a period drama trilogy set in Mumbai, is currenly being shot in Sri Lanka.

Bollywood seldom seeks inspiration from books. But when it does, it makes sure that it doesn’t disappoint the audience. Amir Khan’s 3 idiots (based on Chetan Bhagat’s Five Point Someone) is a stark example. It also managed to make it to the Top 250 Movies of all time at IMDB (Internet Movie Database). Devdas, Parineeta and Kai Po Che are a few other examples of Bollywood’s penchant for adaptations. The year 2014 will see a slew of movies following the same trend. From detective thrillers to a complicated love story, we give you an account of what to expect soon.

Filmmaker Vishal Bharadwaj makes no bones about the fact that he is a William Shakespeare fan. After Omkara, which was based on the Bard’s famous play Othello, Vishal is working on an adaptation of Hamlet. The film ran into trouble a few months ago, during a shooting schedule in Jammu and Kashmir. The release date hasn’t been decided yet, but will see actors Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor playing the lead role.

Based on contemporary author Chetan Bhagat’s novel by the same name, the film is directed by Abhishek Varman. Releasing on April 18 this year, the movie will see actors Alia Bhatt (who debuted in 2012 with Student of the Year) and Arjun Kapoor in lead roles. The film has been shot in Delhi, Chennai and Ahmedabad. All of Chetan Bhagat’s novels so far have been adapted for the big screen.

Bombay Velvet
This Anurag Kashyap directed film has already created a lot of buzz with Karan Johar playing a negative role for the very first time. Based on author Gyan Prakash’s novel Mumbai Fables, this movie will see Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles, paired opposite each other for the first time. Set in the early 1950s and 70s. Bombay Velvet is scheduled to release on Christmas this year.

Byomkesh Bakshi
Writer Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay’s fictional character will be revived yet again in this film directed by Dibakar Banerjee, which is set to hit theatres on July 23. Starring actor Sushant Singh Rajput (Kai Po Che) in the lead role, look forward to seeing the actor donning the traditional kurta pyjama solving crimes in the City of Joy - Kolkata.
