'Jhalak..' learning process for me: Remo D'Souza
Mumbai, May 29: Choreographer-director Remo D' Souza, who is back on the judge's panel of the seventh season of celebrity dance reality show "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa", says the reason he chose to judge the show is that it's a learning experience for him.
" 'Jhalak...' is a learning process for me as a technician. I get to learn a lot from the choreographers who showcase their talent on the dance floor," Remo said.
Alongside Remo, the show will be co-judged by filmmaker Karan Johar and actress Madhuri Dixit. The contestants range from actors Kritika Kamra, Mouni Roy, Purab Kohli, Karan Tacker, Sophie Choudry, Pooja Banerjee and Ashish Sharma to VJ Andy, professional dancer Shakti Mohan, singer Sukhwinder Singh, comedian Kiku Sharda as Palak and cricketer S. Sreesanth.
The 42-year-old has high expectations from the forthcoming show which will go on air June 7, and he will play a tougher role this time. "As always my expectations are high. I want to see something new every season. I have a lot of expectations from all the celebrities who are participating in the dance show as all of them are good dancers. This season, each of the contestant knows how to dance," said Remo.
"Shakti, Sophie, Sreesanth and especially young boy Akshat, who has a good taste in pure Bollywood dancing styles, are all good dancers. And this time, I'll be tougher and uncompromising towards judging." Talking about the professional dancers in "Jhalak...", like Lauren Gottileb in the last season and Shakti, who won the title of "Dance India Dance", in the forthcoming, Remo said that the show attempts to inspire the contestants to perform better.
" 'Jhalak...' ropes in professional dancers, so that the level of competition is all geared up and that all the contestants feel the heat of the competition, get motivated and prove themselves," he said.

It seems a riveting tale chart with bursting music, emotions and high drama.
Starring Sidharth Malhotra and Shradha Kapoor in the leading roles along with Ritesh Deshmukh, the film is produced by Ekta Kapoor under her Balaji Motion Pictures banner, the film is said to release in 27th June, 2014. It also marks the first-time pairing of Siddharth and Shraddha.

Prakash Raj gets into a heated brawl on board a flight
After promoting the Telugu version of his upcoming film Ulavacharu Biryani in Hyderabad, Prakash Raj was on his way to Chennai to promote the Tamil version. But onboard a flight, the actor entered into a heated argument with a fellow passenger. It all began when Praksh Raj noticed that the person sitting next to him in the flight was happily clicking away his pictures on his cell phone, without even asking the actor's permission. A miffed Prakash Raj apparently told the passenger to stop while also telling him that he should have at least asked for his permission first before clicking pictures. In no time, the two got into a heated argument which even led to exchanging blows. The flight staff had to intervene and pacify both parties. It was later found that the co-passenger was reportedly a junior artiste.
Baba Sehgal is the new baddie in T-town
Baba Sehgal seems to fancy playing the baddie onscreen. "I think it's my bald hip-hopper look that's doing the trick for me," quips the rapper, who is playing a "Bangkok based drug lord," in an upcoming film, Overdose. "I play this international drug peddler who moves to the city to expand his business. It's an interesting character," shares the singer-turned-actor who believes "acting is just an extension of shooting music videos."
He's completed shooting for a negative role in Anushka's Rudrammadevi — he is playing the role of Naga Devudu — and is admittedly in talks for another upcoming Tollywood project. "Touchwood, I'm getting a lot of offers, so I'm looking to make the most of what's coming my way. Hyderabad has been quite lucky for me," he adds.
