Aamir Khan, who is known to keep his upcoming films under wraps, has recently made the headlines after the actor was rumoured to team up with South megastar Rajinikanth for his next project,  "Robot 2".
Khan is said to have been approached by director Shankar of "Robot" fame to play the negative role in his science thriller sequel. Though the actor is reportedly on initial talks with the director, the deal has not been confirmed yet.
"Preliminary talks are on to sign Aamir," a source close to the filmmaker told
"Given the popularity of the original, which co-starred Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, it was natural for the makers to consider a second film. The modalities are currently being discussed." the source added.
"Robot" (2010) featured Rajinikanth and former Miss World Aishwarya Rai, was one of the highest budget movies made in India and was released in three languages – Tamil, Telegu and Hindi. The science thriller was critically acclaimed and received positive responses from across the country and overseas.
If rumours are to be believed, then with this deal, the Bollywood perfectionist and South's megastar Rajinikanth will leave no stone unturned to entertain the audience and create a blockbuster history.
This the second time Shankar has approached the "Dhoom 3" actor to star in his hit franchise. The director had earlier roped Shah Rukh Khan to play the lead in "Robot". Shah Rukh had reportedly agreed to produce the flick, but the deal was eventually withdrawn as the "Chennai Express" star opted out of the film following creative differences.
Aamir was later approached by the director, but he too turned down the role, thus making way for Rajinikanth who made it a blockbuster.
The "3 Idiots" star is currently shooting for Raju Hirani's next "PK". In the movie, Aamir plays the role of an extraterrestrial creature, who lands on Earth and puts on several avatars in order to survive on the planet.
Apparently, the 48-year-old will play a dual role, as an alien and God. The film also stars Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjay Dutt as main characters and is set to release worldwide on 19 December 2014.
On the other hand, Rajinikanth will be seen in dual roles in his upcoming flick, "Lingaa". The commercial entertainer also has Sonakshi Sinha, Anushka Shetty, Dev Gill, Jagapathi Babu and Santhanam in supporting roles.

Kaushik Sen's wife and son play lovers on stage

Kaushik Sen's play, Punoscho, based on Syed Mujtaba Ali's eponymous short story from Chacha Kahini boasts of a unique pairing. In a first, his son, Riddhi, and wife Reshmi play lovers on stage!

The story that revolves around Chacha (played by Kaushik Sen), begins with him opening a dialogue on true beauty. Says Kaushik, "Riddhi, who plays the young Chacha, comes across two women in Paris. The older lady is a social butterfly, who is more interested in the man's pocket than his heart. She insists on being taken to the biggest restaurants and theatres; she eats a lot and falls asleep midway through movies. Through her, I have tried to explore the hollowness and blatant hypocrisy of elitist society. Reshmi has given a powerhouse performance."

Kaushik says he was inspired by a real-life incident while adapting the story for stage. "During a performance of Naseeruddin Shah's Dear Liar in Kolkata, I had seen two women dozing off in the front row. For us, Naseeruddin is god, but for them, he must have been the Oyeoye actor!" says Kaushik.
