Actor Murli Sharma, who has acted in a couple of Marathi films before will be seen in a new avatar in Makarand Deshpande's upcoming film.

The actor who was last seen in the Hindi film 'Machhli Jal Ki Rani Hai' has donned the khaki for his role as an encounter specialist cop in the Marathi film 'Saturday Sunday'. The film is about eight gangsters who are brought together by the Home Minister and told to follow his instructions if they want to live after the weekend. Directed by Makarand, the film also has actors Amruta Subhash, Nachiket Joshi, Nagesh Bhosale and Neha Joshi in it. Amruta plays the role of an actress and Nagesh plays the Home Minister. 
The first look of the film was recently launched by Anurag Kashyap and Vipul Amrutlal Shah at a function in Mumbai.

Sonam Kapoor, who recently unveiled the first look of her upcoming movie 'Khoobsurat'at an event in Mumbai, has said that she is a selfish actor.
"It's just a matter of taking each day and enjoying my work, and saying that I am a selfish actor. I will do the best I can with this role," the 29-year- old actress said.
'Khoobsurat' is slated to hit the theaters on 19th September 2014.


Kangana Ranaut sticks to her guns turns down brand!


Mumbai: Bollywood's Queen Bee,Kangana Ranaut was recently approached by a top skin care brand, while in the States, for a staggering amount to endorse their product. The actress however, turned down the brand as it meant compromising her privacy as the brand required her to join Twitter.

Kangana who has gone on record to state that she will not get on any micro-blogging or social networking site, refused to get on Twitter despite being offered a whopping amount to lend her name to the brand.

 Salman Khan’s Kick tickets to cost more!


Get set to loosen your pocket a little bit more to watch your favorite star Salman Khan on the big screen. The tickets for his upcoming film Kick, also starring Jacqueline Fernanadez, will be sold at a hike of 15 to 20 percent.  

Vishal Anand, operations head, Fun Cinemas, while talking to a leading tabloid, said, “For Kick, we are increasing prices by 15-20 percent. This is anyway done for big-ticket films and with Eid around the corner, we are factoring in the festive fervor. Our ticket pricing for Kick will be similar to what we charged for Dhoom 3.’’

Trade expert Komal Nahata says, “The entire week will see tickets costing up to 15 to 20 percent more. If the film does well, distributors could even hike up prices by another 10 percent on Eid and Baasi Eid.’’

In the past too, films like Salman Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger, Shah Rukh Khan’s Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Chennai Express, Ajay Devgn’s Son Of Sardaar, and Aamir Khan’s Talaash and Dhoom 3 have seen higher ticket prices.
