Gulaab Gang
Somewhere in the Hindi heartland, an ashram of sorts has been set up by Rajjo (Madhuri Dixit) where women armed with axes and sickle and dressed in pink nine yards, mete out the evil and seek out justice for one and all, while making hand-ground spices, hand-woven baskets and hand-woven sarees.
But when the party she was campaigning for reveals its true colors, Rajjo knows she has a whole new battle ahead of her. And a force of evil she hasn`t encountered in the past - Sumitra Devi (Juhi Chawla) whose money, bullet, connection-driven juggernaut of politics is a threat she hasn`t encountered before.
Realizing the devil is soon enough going to swamp and silence and encompass the work she has been striving for all these years, and bring her into a deadlier web of buyout, Rajjo has to battle this new unseen devil. At the ballot box.
With something she has lived to learn all these years the strength of soul, song and stick. This season the color of justice is pink.
Cast - Madhuri Dixit Nene, Juhi Chawla, Divya Jagdale, Priyanka Bose, Tannishtha Chatterjee
Director - Soumik Sen
Verdict - The movie is much anticipated and talked about, garnering positive pre-screening reviews. Madhuri Dixit and Juhi Chawla return to the lime-light and deliver great lead performances. The story-line also touches upon some serious issues and plays them out well. I would suggest you give this one a watch.

300: Rise of an Empire
The film acts as the much awaited sequel to 2006's '300'. The film is based on Frank Millers latest graphic novel 'Xerxes', and presented in the same visual style as its predecessor, the new chapter of the epic saga takes the action to a fresh battlefield on the sea as Greek general Themistokles attempts to unite all of Greece by leading the charge that will change the course of the war.
Cast - Sullivan Stapleton, Eva Green,
Lena Headey, Hans Matheson, Rodrigo Santoro
Lena Headey, Hans Matheson, Rodrigo Santoro
Director - Noam Murro
Verdict - The first film worked because of a combination of brilliant visuals and the intense action sequences. This movie contains much of that, and so should in face be as good. Eva Green delivers a great performance as Artemisia, and Rodrigo Santoro as King Xerxes is always a pleasure to watch. If the movie is as good as the trailor, you won't be disappointed.

At the time, she had a successful run in her acting career. After a long gap, they have now signed Deepika."Recently, Amitabh Bachchan said that he stopped endorsing the cola brand because he was stumped when an IIM student asked him, "Sir, Why do you endorse a product which my teacher term as poison." But the cola team had a different version of the story. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is happy that he has survived in the industry and is still a star despite having several flops behind him. "It has been an amazing journey till now. It is fantastic time to be here," Shah Rukh said.

"There are so many wonderful filmmakers and actors who are edgy and want to take risk, chances and take Indian cinema forward, the extent to which Indian cinema has shifted from just being a trend and fad internationally to becoming part and parcel (there)," Shah Rukh said.
