New poster of 'PK' won't even have transistor!
Mumbai: The second poster of Aamir Khan's "PK" will come out Aug 20 and he says in that, he's not even holding a boombox, which hid his modesty in the first poster that received flak for the actor's naked look.

In the first look poster of the film, Aamir posed nude with a strategically placed boombox. While some appreciated the dare bare act, some criticised it and even called it a "publicity stunt".

"We are releasing our second poster for 'PK' Aug 20 and in that poster I am not holding any transistor even," Aamir told reporters here Wednesday at the launch of a book "My Marathi".

In "PK", Aamir will be seen speaking Bhojpuri. The actor says he took special training under a dialogue coach for two years.

"I took special training for Bhojpuri language as I am speaking Bhojpuri in 'PK'," the 49-year-old said.

"I took special training for it for almost two years from my dialogue coach Shanti Bhushan," he added.

Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, "PK" also features Sanjay Dutt, Anushka Sharma and Sushant Singh Rajput. It is slated to release Dec 19.

Singham Returns movie review

Singham Returns movie review

It has a message if you could grasp it but we would recommend you to don’t juggle your brains much over that and just look out for two and a half hours of entertainment in which Ajay takes
 the lead.

Stars- Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Anupam Kher, Amol Gupte
Director- Rohit Shetty
Music Director- Ankit Tiwari, Jeet Gangulli, Meet Bros Anjjan and Yo Yo Honey Singh

Rohit Shetty, after roping in SRK in his production last year, soar his level up in his style of working. Now after a year the director is back with Ajay Devgn who tagged himself in Rohit’s most number of flicks.

And nonetheless Ajay and Rohit are once again unbelievably glorious with their beloved work of action in Singham Returns.

However, sequels in Bollywood have rarely worked but it seems favorable for Rohit Shetty yet again. Looking back at his Golmaal series we may get a clear stance. Singham’s sequel in yet another example and cements Rohit’s successful streak in Indian cinema.

Singham Returns roars louder that before with its action and one-liners. This roar is surely to receive loud screams, high-pitched whistles and applause in packed theatres. However, it would be quite early to predict whether this could turn a gold-digger at box office. But after witnessing this blasting drama one would say it’s going to bring moolah.

So, first of all, what’s the story all about? Allow us to tell you. The honest and the fearless Bajirao Singham (Ajay Devgn) is now the DCP of Mumbai and is once again all set to flush off the local dirt. Mumbai has Guruji (Anupam Kher) as a virtuous political leader who wants to bring a new change in the society and considers black money as the biggest menace to the country. But his moralistic aims are a threat to some dishonest men including ‘dharm-guru’ Swamiji (Amol Gupte) whose men keep threatening Guruji.

When Singham intervenes here, he finds himself into a trap when a police constable from his squad is found dead in a police van stuffed with huge sum of money. Singham is charged of being corrupt but he fights back to prove one and all wrong and paint the blemish on his other wise spotless uniform.

How this determined lion facing new challenges get to prove his honesty and bravery, that’s what Rohit narrates in this power-packed action drama.

Director keeps the premise similar to what he had in 2011 hit but Singham Returns is more realistic however, nothing compared to Bollywood’s hard-core satirical flick. He goes a step ahead and tries to expose the political underbelly and corruption which could have been more refined. But neither have we expected a Rohit Shetty flick to be so nor the director considers panning the political deeds and changing his own image.

You get what you expect before entering the theatres. Choreographed by Rohit Shetty himself alongwith Jai Singh Nijjar and Suniel Rodrigues, the power-packed action sequences are two times bigger than Singham Returns’s prequel. One of them shot on a bridge is the jaw-dropping and the show-stealer. While the narration is fast-paced, such thunderous action stunts keep you engaged throughout.

Editor Steven Benard’s editing looks like have too much of gif format utilized in those sequences particularly when Ajay as an annihilator in one scene bashes up the goon. But it fits in well.

The raging interaction between Swamiji and Bajirao is captivating and amusing with some witty dialogues written by Sajid-Farhad duo while the cute romance between our male protagonist and Kavya Bhosle (Kareena Kapoor Khan) too has some good moments.

What’s more admirable is that in spite too many characters, the screenplay is extremely clear cut, with every role detailed perfectly.

What could have been minimized is the length which is extensive. Moreover, the complete law enforcement coming together to support Singham looks a lot dramatic.  But let me remind you that it’s a masala entertainer and we let Rohit enjoy the cinematic liberty.

Also it has a message if you could grasp it but we would recommend you to don’t juggle your brains much over that and just look out for two and a half hours of entertainment in which Ajay takes the lead.

He fits in the role of super cop in the flick. Ajay brings in the frustration and anger which he has been maintaining in many of his political satirical flicks. With it he makes his character larger than life.

Kareena Kapoor Khan is like breath of fresh air. She is notorious and blatant in her character. Her way of flirting with Ajay provides a comic relief.

Amole Gupte as an antagonist is marvelous. His presence has a required weight-age and he sends tremors down when comes on screen.

Dayanand Shetty as an inspector carries the same persona for which he has been known in one of the longest running shows on TV ‘CID’. Anupam Kher is a righteous politician is good too.

Compared to flick’s first installment music is better here. Composed by Ankit Tiwari, Jeet Gangulli, Meet Bros Anjjan and Yo Yo Honey Singh, the songs have a decent shelf life while they gel in the movie comfortably. Background score by Amar Mohile is superb.
