Salman, Aamir, Ranbir- Karan Johar casts all but not his 'best friend' Shah Rukh, why? (view pics)

Salman, Aamir, Ranbir- Karan Johar casts all but not his 'best friend' Shah Rukh, why? (view pics)

New Delhi: Filmmaker Karan Johar is making new relations and rejuvenating old one but at the same time is embracing his long term associated friend Shah Rukh Khan.

Gone are the days when the filmmaker’s indestructible oath of tagging Shah Rukh in each of his flicks was considered to be the best sign of friendship in Bollywood. The filmmaker is moving on with all other B’wood actor sans King Khan.

Four years it’s been but no association of Shah Rukh is witnessed in any of Karan’s production. He didn’t deserve even a cameo appearance in Karan Johar’s last directorial ‘Student Of The Year’.

And similar approach is going to be witnessed in Dharma Production’s flicks covering next two years and it’s going to have other big Khan- Salman & Aamir, Akshay Kumar, Sidharth Malhotra, Emraan Hashmi and lastly Ranbir Kapoor with no Shah Rukh Khan.

According to media report, Karan didn’t approached Shah Rukh for any of his four to five flicks creating a buzz for a soar relationship between the two. Have a look at his projects:

Shuddhi- The flick is going to be Salman Khan’s comeback in Dharma Production after ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ and will be directed by Karan Malhotra. After reputedly being denied by Hrtihik Roshan, Johar even approached Aamir Khan but finally it was Salman who won the race. Shah Rukh didn’t come in the frame for once.

Brothers- The official remake of the Hollywood flick with the same title is going to have Sidharth Malhotra and for the first time ever Khiladi Kumar-Akshay in the lead role. The flick once again will be directed by Karan Malhotra.

Badtameez Dil- Serial Kisser Emraan Hashmi too for the first time ever will be working with Karan Johar and will be romancing Kareena Kapoor Khan. Badtameez Dil will be directed by Akshay Roy.

Ram Lakhan- Recently announced was a big news by the coveted house that the 1989 super hit will be remade and none other than action master Rohit Shetty is going to direct it. Speculations are that Gunday duo Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor will be Ram and Lakhan in the remake.

KJo’s another venture will have Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt and will be directed by Ayan Mukherji while other flick will star Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan.

So, while new members are joining in the family, Karan Johar seems to have diluted the relationship with the older ones.

What the reason behind it is not clearly known but one thing is sure that the long association between Karan and SRK is on its extreme edge!

400 protestors booked, Imran asks Sharif to resign for a month

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan asked Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to resign for a month during which a probe into the alleged poll rigging will be completed, even as 400 PTI protestors were booked for anti-government rallies and blocking traffic in Punjab province, media reported Sunday.

Imran Khan made this demand Saturday after the third round of talks between the government and PTI faced a deadlock over the issue of Sharif's resignation, the Nation reported.

Addressing supporters in Islamabad, Imran Khan reiterated his resolve to continue his sit-in in front of parliament till Sharif's resignation and the initiation of new elections.

He said he would not let his party function till the government meets his latest demand.

He said Sharif could return to his office after 30 days if the judicial commission could not prove the allegations of rigging against him.

On Saturday, a group of PTI lawyers joined Imran Khan to protest against the government.

The PTI chief asked the lawyers to file petitions against the government's illegal activities including blocking of roads.

Imran Khan once again asked supporters to gather in Islamabad Sunday, saying he would make an important speech.

Meanwhile, at least 400 PTI protestors were booked for staging anti-government rallies and blocking traffic for five hours in Faisalabad city of Punjab province.

The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was scheduled to organise a pro-government rally in Faisalabad Sunday.

The protests that began Aug 15 went on for the ninth day Sunday.
