Mumbai, Sep 11  Homi Adajania, who has teamed up with Deepika Padukone for the second time in 'Finding Fanny', says the actress is a brilliant performer and understands him as a director.

"She has a great face and body. More importantly, she is a brilliant actress. I am happy that she understands me as a director very well," Homi said in an interview here.

Homi says he cast her in 'Cocktail' without watching her earlier films.

New Delhi: Yet another star-studded screening of Finding Fanny took place yesterday night. The event witnessed some of the most respectable stars from the industry.
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan attended the screening of “Finding Fanny” in Mumbai.
Exactly like the film, even the screening turned out to be quite a unique affair in its own way. The screening witnessed the overwhelming presence of manystars including Amitabh Bachchan, Imran Khan, actress Neha Dhupia, director Ken Ghosh, Anupam Kher, Gauri Shinde, R. Balki and Krishika Lulla amongst manyothers.
The group of Deepika, Arjun, Ranveer were seen cracking jokes and laughing.

1. Presence of Big B
The overwhelming presence of Amitabh Bachchan added stars to the event. Not just he came for screening, but also joined the cast for a photo session at thepremiere.
Big B took to microblogging website Twitter and called the movie “a delightful slice of life.”
“What a delightful slice of life 'Finding Fanny' .. well done Homi, NaseerS, Dimple, PankajK, Deepika and Arjun .. CONGRATULATIONS!” read his tweet.
He even praised Deepika and tweeted, “FF : Finding Fanny .. Deepika calls to the trial
and it was such a delight to witness .. such effortless, natural performance ..!!”

2. Arjun Kapoor-Ranveer Singh’s bromance
As Deepika-Arjun-Homi, the Finding Fanny trio went up and down with gags of laughter, actor Ranveer Singh was seen in his own funny and wackiest side. Helooked happy and was seen in his normal funny self.
The Baba and Bala of B-town was again spotted spilling magic of their 'bromance'. The boys shared some candid and cranky moments.

3. Deepika-Ranveer’s crackling chemistry
Like the previous screening, Deepika and Ranveer were again spotted in sharing candid moments. This Bollywood’s star couple couldn't take their eyes off eachother and looked adorable together.
Just see the way they look at each other, too much admiration and love for the each other.
 
After “Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela”, “Finding Fanny” will be their second movie together. Ranveer will essay the role of Deepika’s husband, whounfortunately dies on the wedding day.
They are coming back together as a couple once again in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s “Bajirao Mastani”.
Arjun looked handsome at the event. He wore a cobalt blue Paul Smith suit that he paired with a crisp white shirt from Thomas Pink. Brown loafers from Tod'sand a printed pocket square from Thomas Pink completed his look.
Deepika looked gorgeous in a sari. She wore a blush from Payal Singhal creations and teamed it with a red hot lips and beautiful pair earrings.

The movie features the five main characters with their respective quests. While Deepika Padukone is looking for love, Arjun Kapoor's looking for romance,
Naseeruddin Shah is looking for life, and Dimple Kapadia is looking for fun and Pankaj Kapoor, for passion.
Shooting of the film started in October 2013 and consummated in just 41 days. The movie is of just 90 minutes.
"Finding fanny' is a bi-lingual film and will release this Friday.

Kunal Kapoor comes forward flood victims in Jammu & Kashmir


Mumbai: Actor Kunal Kapoor has joined hands with NGO CARE India to raise funds for the victims of Jammu and Kashmir flood, which has taken at least 215 lives.
 
“In association with an NGO, I have started a fundraiser to help raise money for the terrible situation in Kashmir,” the actor, who has featured in films like "Rang De Basanti" and "Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana", tweeted.
 
“The situation is far worse than u can imagine. And ppl are in need of immediate help. You can help them (sic),” he wrote.
 
The actor has also shared the link of the site where one can contribute for the people who are trapped and seek help.
 
The home page of website reads: “Hi guys, I’m Kunal Kapoor. I’ve been watching the news coverage of the floods in Kashmir and it’s saddening, the number of people whose homes and lives have just been wiped out... I want to do something to help them. And I know there are people just like me, who want to help too.
 
“So please join me. Let’s raise funds for the people of Kashmir together. Let’s stand by our countrymen and do whatever we can to help them deal with their losses. We can help them gradually rebuild their homes and their lives. We CAN make a difference together.”
 
The funds will go to CARE India, which will distribute survival kits to the affected families and individuals in Jammu and Kashmir.
 
The kits would include basic amenities for survival such as tarpaulin, mats, hygiene kit (soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, sanitary napkins and disinfectant soaps) and blankets.
 
Each survival kit costs Rs.5,000 and the actor is looking to gather fund for 100 such kits.
 
Official reports indicate that over 76,500 people have been rescued in Jammu and Kashmir and relief efforts were on in the flood-hit parts of the state where hundreds still remained trapped even as the flood waters continued to recede Wednesday.
