Zaheer Khan, Wasim Jaffer in Mumbai’s list of probables for Ranji Trophy

Speedster Zaheer Khan, who has not played a single game since getting injured in the last IPL season, and veteran batsman Wasim Jaffer, have been included in the 28-member strong Mumbai probables for the upcoming season in four-day as well as one day formats of the game. The probables are: Wasim Jaffer, Rohit Sharma, Zaheer Khan, Ajinkya Rahane, Abhishek Nayar, Suryakumar Yadav, Hiken Shah, Dhawal Kulkarni, Avishkar Salvi, Akhil Herwadkar, Sushant Marathe, Bravish Shetty, Siddhesh Lad, Sarfaraz Khan, Aditya Tare, Wilkin Mota, Vinit Indulkar, Vishal Dabholkar, Iqbal Abdullah, Kevin D’Almeida, Shardul Thakur, Javed Khan, Saurabh Netrawalkar, Sufiyan Shaikh, Kshemal Waingankar, Praful Waghela, Shreyas Iyer, Badre Alam.

Sania Mirza has done India proud: President


President Pranab Mukherjee congratulated Indian tennis player Sania Mirza Saturday for winning the US Open mixed doubles title with Brazilian partner Bruno Soares.

Top seeds Sania and Soares defeated American-Mexican pairing of Abigail Spears and Santiago Gonzalez 6-1, 2-6, 11-9 to win the title at the Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York Friday.

Sania later replied to the tweet, thanking the president

"@RashtrapatiBhvn thank you so much Sir..," tweeted Sania.

The Indian tennis star had also won the 2009 Australian Open and 2012 French Open mixed doubles titles with Mahesh Bhupathi.
Parineeti, Aditya promote 'Daawat-e-Ishq' at college fest

Recently the duo was spotted promoting 'Daawat-e-Ishq' at college fest 'Vaayu 2014' in India's showbiz capital Mumbai.
The actors had a gala time interacting with students of NMIMS.
'Daawat-e-Ishq' centres around Gulrez 'Gullu', played by Parineeti, a Hyderabadi shoe-sales girl disillusioned with love because of her encounters with dowry-seeking men and Tariq 'Taru' Haidar (Aditya Roy Kapoor), a Lucknawi cook who can charm anybody with the aroma and flavours of his biryani and kebabs.
Produced by Aditya Chopra, the film is written and directed by Habib Faisal. Music is by Sajid-Wajid and is slated to release on 19th September 2014.
Arnold Schwarzenegger to attend Tamil film Ai's audio launch in Chennai? 
In a YouTube video posted by Sony Music India, Hollywood star Arnold Schwarzenegger is seen saying that he will attend the audio launch of filmmaker Shankar's magnum opus Ai in Chennai on September 15.
"Hello India! I want to congratulate a great director Shankar for directing Ai. It's a spectacular movie with a lot of visual effects and I'll be coming over there to India to celebrate the grand launch of the audio of Ai. It's going to be a spectacular event and I'm really looking forward to it.


Shankar-directed Ai will release around Diwali
"Chennai, September 15, I will be there for the great celebrations. Hasta la vista, baby," the Terminator star, who has reportedly made a cameo in the film, said in the video, which was posted on the online platform on Friday.
A description of the video reads, "Watch the Macho, Arnold Schwarzenegger, share a special message with his fans in India. The Terminator visits Chennai to be a part of the grand audio launch of AR Rahman's magnum musical, Vikram starrer Ai by ace director Shankar. 15th September, Don't Miss It."
