Kareena Kapoor: I won't do biopics, just because everyone is doing it

Mumbai: Kareena Kapoor, who has done her share of female-centric dramas, says she wouldn't accept a biopic or a woman-oriented script just because others are doing it.
It won't be saying wrong that this year is riding high on women centric dramas. Be it Kangana Ranaut's sleeper hit "Queen" or Alia Bhatt's raod movie "Highway" or Rani Mukerji's "Mardaani" or boxing champ Mary Kom's biopic starring Priyanka Chopra in the title role - all came and conquered the box office.
When asked Kareena about the same, she said: "I have done female-centric film. I did 'Chameli' at 22, then 'Jab We Met' and then 'Heroine'."
"So, I would only do one if I really like the script and not just because everyone is doing it. That is not how I work," the 34-year-old said Wednesday at the Head & Shoulders event here.
Kareena was recently seen in Rohit Shetty's commercial hit "Singham Returns" and her upcoming films include "Happy Ending" with husband Saif Ali Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Gabbar" opposite Akshay Kumar.

Kill Dil title song review: Crazy Ranveer-Govinda-Ali dance on a crazier Bollywood number (watch video)

Kill Dil title song review: Crazy Ranveer-Govinda-Ali dance on a crazier Bollywood number (watch video)

New Delhi: Kill Dil title track is here and as expected it is an offering not by two good singers but by one terrific trio.
Govinda-Ranveer-Ali are showing crazy moves with crazier expressions in the song. ‘Kill Dil’ song sets you in an old world charm and you will not resist but remember the off-late Bollywood era of Kishore Kumar yodeling days.
An unusual music has been transcended perfectly through the energetic and insane moves of Ranveer Singh, Govinda and Ali Zafar. Kill Dil track provides you with a package of blasting chemistry between our three musketeers and also serves you killer Hindi film music.
The music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy is once again worth tons of praises. While we all know that this trio too have been giving us purely enthusiastic and foot tapping music time and again, Kill Dil appears energetic but has got a fun touch to it.
Kill Dil is sung by Shankar Mahadevan and Sonu Nigam. The life of the singing lies in those yodeling punches and the variation from overtly loud to flat notes making the song more vibrant.
Ranveer Singh Govinda and Ali Zafar in Kill Dil song
Apart from the music and the singing that undoubtedly are commendable, the performances of the actors win here for me.
Flawless and effortless typical ‘Govinda moves’ that all of us were craving to watch on screen are pulsating and entertaining.

The choreography in the song seems unplanned and as if the actors were allowed to groove ecstatically in order to enjoy the song and that’s something making Kill Dil title track visually intriguing.
Watch a good Bollywood music in Kill Dil title track video starring Govinda, Ranveer Singh and Ali Zafar here…

If I were to be formal enough to praise the song, I would have added that Kill Dil title track alone stand as a ‘paisa vasool’ factor of the film!
Moreover, the song tickles so much that you eventually forget that there is an actress too in the film. The electric Kill Dil title track is capable enough to enjoy the genres of ‘rock,’ ‘trance,’ and at the same groove to happy chunks of typical Bollywood music.
There might not be a structured reason for this but here again; Govinda dominates everything in the Kill Dil title track.
Now that’s when you can actually enjoy men dancing in a true ‘tapori’ style inviting you to join the madness!
Kill Dil is directed by Shaad Ali and is produced by Aditya Chopra under YRF. Apart from the above stated actors, the film also stars Parineeti Chopra and is slated for release on November 14.
