Her recent release Bang Bang has zoomed into the Rs 100 crore league and Katrina Kaif can't stop beaming with happiness. In an interview post the Bang Bang release, Katrina spoke about her upcoming films -Jagga Jasoos, Phantom and Fitoor!
Jagga Jasoos will bring back the real life couple Katrina and beau Ranbir Kapoor on screen yet again after Raajneeti. Touted to be a thriller, Katrina shed some more light on the film. "There are too many speculations about my character from Jagga Jasoos but I can only tell you none of them are true. Ranbir is playing a detective but not in the traditional sense at all. Dada (Anurag Basu) has his own cinematic sense and created a world which is very unique. More than a thriller, it is a very emotional film. Plus, it is a musical where we have enacted scenes through multiple songs, something that we have never tried before in our films", Katrina smiled.
While she is still shooting for Jagga Jasoos, Katrina is all set to begin a new project - Fitoor opposite Aditya Roy Kapur which will go on floors this November after wrapping up Jagga Jasoos. The actress, who's usually reserved and secretive also revealed a lot about Fitoor as well. "Fitoor on the other hand is an intense, passionate love story, more on the lines of a Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. Fitoor is about a tragic love story which people would relate to. It is a young entertaining film for the audiences today"
But her upcoming next would be Kabir Khan's Phantom. If sources are to be believed, the film might just turn out to be Katrina's best till date. "Phantom is different from whatever I have done in my entire career. You cannot really call it a thriller because Kabir (Khan) has tried to do something really different with the topic. The story has been writtern by the writer of Black Friday and his writing style brings in the real world to the fore. All I can say about Phantom is that there is definitely an angle of terrorism in the film and the writers have created an exciting element of suspense through their storytelling", Katrina said confidently!
Katrina Kaif might be mighty pleased with the good response to Bang Bang but she is definitely looking confident and high spirited about the three other films in her kitty!
