Bollywood actors are a major part of the ISL as some of them co-own the teams. However a report in TOI suggests that actor Salman Khan, who co-owns the FC Pune City is likely to step down. His replacement is none other than Hrithik Roshan. Salman co-owns the Pune franchise along with Wadhawan Group, which has diverse business interests. However the actor is unable to devote time to promote the team unlike his counterparts Abhishek Bachchan (Chennai), John Abraham (Guwahati) and Ranbir Kapoor (Mumbai). FC Pune City has now closed in on Hrithik Roshan and an agreement will be signed on Thursday. ISL aims to ignite the footbal magic in the country and aims to be a big boost for the domectic football scene in the country, which took a backseat in the early 1960s

Rekha is beauty personified

Rekha will turn 60 Friday and her "Super Naani" co-star Shreya is in awe of her ageless beauty and says that the National Award winning actress will never age.

"Even at 60, she retains her charm and beauty. Like the (monument) Taj Mahal, she will never grow old," Shreya told IANS on phone from Mumbai.
"October 10 is Rekhaji's birthday. She is beauty personified, in mind, body and soul. In 'Super Naani', you will get to see her again," added the actress who plays Rekha's daughter-in-law in the film, which is scheduled for a release later this month.
Director of hits like "Dil", "Beta" and "Grand Masti", Indra Kumar has wielded the megaphone for "Super Naani".
"I have learnt a lot from Rekhaji, her discipline and total commitment. She starts her day with yoga and exercises, looks fresh the whole day. We have learnt what dedication means from her," said Shreya.
In her over four-decade career Rekha may have worked in over 150 films, including "Ghar", "Umrao Jaan", "Khoobsurat" and "Izajat", but she never reads her scripts, said Shreya and added that the senior actor gives more importance to listening to her lines.
Shreya, who was noticed in "Sahib, Bibi Aur Gangster" and "Mahua", is planning to visit the Taj city soon.

Lungi Dance Like a Boss: In Kerala, a Flash Mob of IT CEOs
As a part of the ongoing Daan Utsav week, a group of CEOs from Trivandrum, Kerala, took part in a flash mob, surprising their employees and setting a brilliant example for head honchos elsewhere in the country. According to Technopark Today, about 30 IT bosses took to the dance floor to raise awareness and money for the underprivileged.

These bosses get brownie points for the effort they made to put up a well-choreographed piece to a medley of several popular Hindi (Lungi Dance, anyone?) and Malayalam songs.

The CEOs came onto the floor one by one, followed by a team of their colleagues, as the crowd cheered and egged them on.  "We wanted to attract the attention of all of the 45,000 plus employees in Technopark, to this noble cause, which is the reason the CEOs themselves hit the dance floor. I hope the message of 'Joy of Giving' is embraced by the larger society too," said Girish Babu, CEO of Technopark.

Daan Utsav is an annual festival for the people and by the people that encourages donation and is being celebrated from October 2 to 8 this year.

Watch as these IT honchos dance to popular songs as a part of the Joy of Giving Week:

Samantha at Food For Charity event at JRC in Hyderabad
A charity dinner hosted recently, saw the creme de la creme of city in attendance at JRC. Armed with their chic designer bags, the pretty ladies posed for the shutter-bugs, while the men in their smart suits and casuals, bonded with one another. Samantha looked pretty in a sheer embroidered number, while Lakshmi Manchu looked elegant in a silver sari.
