Abhishek Bachchan was the biggest prankster on 'Happy New Year' sets

Abhishek Bachchan was the biggest prankster on 'Happy New Year' sets

Mumbai: Abhishek Bachchan can be one of the biggest prankster in Bollywood. And he proved it yet again during the shooting of "Happy New Year".
One of his favourite on-the-set pranks is to send out messages from his co-stars's phones. During the shooting of "Bluffmaster", director Rohan Sippy and co-star Priyanka Chopra found text messages being sent from their phones that they never would have sent themselves.
And now Abhishek has revealed himself that during the shooting of "Happy New Year", he sent out mischievous tweets from director Farah Khan's phone, praising himself.
The tweets included messages like "Abhishek Bachchan on the sets...so excited..He's just the best", "This Junior Bachchan is fantastic!" and "I wish all my actors were as accomplished and professional as junior Bachchan".
On the "Happy New Year" special episode of "Comedy Nights With Kapil", Abhishek let the cat out of the bag about his own prank.
A source from the show's team said: "Everyone on the show - Shah Rukh Khan, Sonu Sood, Vivaan Shah, Boman Irani and Farah were having fun. But Abhishek was a real sport. He took a potshot at himself regarding the self-praise from Farah's Twitter account! It was really something."
Speaking of phone-related matters, Abhishek also said that the Bachchans are obligated to have at least one meal together every day. And phones are not allowed on the dining table.

Dia Mirza to dance at her 'sangeet' ceremony

If there's one person who is on top of the world these days, then, it has to be none other than the doe eyed Dia Mirza, who is all set to tie the knot with her sweetheart Sahil Sangha on Saturday, October 18 this year.

From bridal attires to jewellery to Mehendi, the actress has a lot on her mind when it comes to her wedding. While talking about her wedding, Dia had previously explained that she would love to make her wedding a grand affair and now, she seems to be doing just that. Dia and Sahil will have a lavish sangeet which has been scheduled to take place on October 17 and this former beauty queen has planned to do a special dance performance at the ceremony. Speaking about the same, an excited Dia mentioned that Sahil and his family members are eagerly waiting to watch her perform at the 'sangeet', while Sahil isn't aware of songs she will be dancing to.

When asked about Sahil, all that Dia said was that he is busy organising everything.

The wedding has been on the cards for the past two years but got postponed due to various reasons. Dia's beau Sahil Sangha proposed to the actress in New York while the two were away attending an award ceremony. In fact the actress is so excited about her wedding that she has been constantly updating her fans on Twitter. "I realised today that despite all the preparedness nothing can prepare you from how overwhelming it can feel as a bride to be :) #breathe. Mehendi hain rachne waali :)"

In fact, Dia who has been fighting for a lot of social causes could not even cast the vote owing to the wedding preparations. Expressing her regret on the Twitter handle, she said, "For the first time will be missing out on my opportunity to #vote in Mumbai... If not for my wedding I'd never miss out on this."
