However, the relegation battle is being fought between Mohammedan Sporting and Churchill Brothers.

Rohit Kamra launched his spring summer collection in Jaipur
Elli Avram
Rohit Kamra recently launched his spring summer collection with a week-long trunk show at The Big Door, Mumbai, and dressed up friends Madhur Bhandarkar and Manav Gohil in his garments. Some of his other Mumbai friends also turned up for the show. Says Rohit, "The Big Door is a new lifestyle store in Mumbai with a lot of Rajasthani influence, and they wanted to start with apparels, so I did this show there. It was more like a specialized exhibition."
This collection is called Rustic Luxury, where its look, with different textures in linen and cotton, is quite rustic but the feel of the garments is luxurious. Rohit says, "This collection is synonymous with Rohit and Abhishek's brand image, but I have never experimented with colours to this extent. The USP of the collection is that it goes with summer trends, it has bright colours, which are not very jarring, but they're vibrant nonetheless. We did a new colour palette of blues and green - from sky blue to cobalt blue and all shades of green. Rust orange, which is going to be big this season, also has been used generously. Then, of course, menswear cannot live without beige, khaki and white - these are wardrobe staples. We've also combined the techniques of tie and dye with ombre."
The show was hugely appreciated by the guests, and Rohit says that it was a pleasure dressing up some of his friends for the show.

Mumbai Metro fares are envisaged to be 1.5 times:
Mumbai: The Mumbai Metro fares are envisaged to be 1.5 times of the BEST fares, which currently is Rs 6 for a minimum distance of 3 km. The Delhi Metro, however, considers AC bus fare as the benchmark for deciding its fares. Mumbai Metro is a joint venture between Reliance Infrastructure, French firm Veolia Transport and MMRDA and with the parties respectively holding 69, 26 and 5 per cent. Meanwhile, Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS) PS Baghel stated that the inspections are going on and the issuance of a final certificate may get delayed by a few days.
"We are still in the process of inspecting various parameters and we will then come out with our observations. We will then co-relate our inspection report with our observations and thereafter a final report will be prepared. A final certificate to the metro may then be issued by May 1 or it may also get delayed by a few days," added Baghel. Since April 17, Baghel has been rigorously inspecting various parameters of running the metro in the city. He first visited D N Nagar car shed in Mumbai and then took a review of the entire metro system, which includes rolling stocks, workshop, depot, corridor, stations, track, etc. CRS safety check is the last statutory certification requirement before the 11.4 km Versova-Andheri-Ghatkopar line is opened for public.
After being satisfied with results of detailed tests and trials, the CRS would authorise Mumbai Metro One Private Ltd (MMOPL) to commence passenger operations on the line. However, social activist Anil Galgali said as per his information, the authorities want to start operations on the line only once the code of conduct gets over so that it makes a good impact for the people of Mumbai.
Galgali, in a letter to CRS, has demanded that the metro be opened for Mumbaikars without delay and that this may not be made a political issue. "We demand an immediate opening of the project once the final certificate is issued for the convenience of the citizens of Mumbai. The project should not be used to score political brownie points," highlighted Galgali. With opening of the line, the journey will be reduced to about 20 minutes on Ghatkopar-Andheri-Versova corridor, which at present takes almost two hours through various other modes of transport.

Telugu filmmaker Krish will direct ‘Gabbar’, which will be produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
"Kareena`s name has come up for the role of the leading lady. She hasn`t been approached yet, but she is likely to be signed on for the role. She is expected to play Akshay`s wife in the film, which will also feature another heroine," a source said.
In case Kareena joins the project, she will essay the role originally played by Simran - she did a special appearance in ‘Ramanaa’. Ashima Bhalla was the other heroine in the film.
"We haven`t confirmed the heroine yet. Currently, we are busy with the pre-production work and when we zero in on the leading lady, we`ll announce it. It`s too early to confirm anything at this stage," Krish said.

Shah Rukh Khan Lends Car to Actor Karanvir Bohra
Shah Rukh Khan
Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is going
out of his way to make television actor Karanvir Bohra feel comfortable.
Khan made it to the news recently
after his luxury vanity van mangled Bohra's sedan near a Mumbai studio. Even
though the star was not present at the site, the incident made quite noise
since a portion of the "Qubool Hai" actor's car was highly distorted
as a result of the accident.
But now the
"Chennai Express" star has come forward to help out Bohra by lending
his car for temporary use until the actor gets back his. Not just the car, the
superstar is also willing to pay for the additional expenditures which Bohra
might have to undergo.
It should be recalled
that the Bohra was prevented from filing the required police complaint by the
Khan's manager after the accident.
"Yes, Shah
Rukh's team sent a car the very next day and told me I could use it till mine
gets fixed. It's at the workshop now. They have also promised to bear expenses
that aren't covered by insurance and they have taken care of everything,"
The small screen
actor further added that Khan's name being dragged into the case is unnecessary
since it was the star's driver who had rammed the vanity van into his car while
making way into the studio.
"There was no
need to drag SRK's name into this in the first place, as he wasn't even in the
van. And the driver, who was at fault, apologized. Everything's been resolved
now," the actor added.
